At Alwajaha Rent Cars, we prioritize the safety and peace of mind of our renters. Please carefully review the following car rental rules in Dubai and insurance policy applicable during the rental period:
In the event of any accident—whether minor or major—it is mandatory to contact the police immediately and obtain an official accident report, as per Dubai car rental regulations.
If the police issue a green report (indicating no fault), the renter will not be held financially responsible for any damages or losses related to the accident. This is covered under our standard insurance policy for car rental in Dubai.
If a red report (indicating fault) is issued and the renter is 24 years of age or older, only the excess amount beyond the insurance coverage must be paid. This amount typically ranges between AED 1,000 and AED 5,000, depending on the vehicle rented.
If a red report is issued and the renter is under the age of 24, the renter will be responsible for the excess amount beyond the insurance coverage plus an additional 10% of the total repair costs.
